1. MUSEUM OF CITY CUSTOMS
•Permanent exhibition representing the customs and culture in Rouse from the end of XIX and the beginning of XX century, the penetration of European fashion influence. The exhibition represents sample interior from a Rouse town house.

2. MUSEUM EXHIBITION "OBRETENOVS' FAMILY"
• In the House Museum "Zahari Stoyanov" is dedicated to the Bulgarian Revival period and the living path of Baba Tonka Obretenova and her family, directly connected with the wars for National Freedom and the social life in Rouse after the Liberation.
• Collection: blank weapon and firearms from XVIII, XIX centuries

3. PANTHEON OF NATIONAL REVIVAL HEROES
• Monument- Ossuary of the Bulgarian revolutionaries and cultural-enlightening figures. The bones of the elite, who formed the national idea in the Bulgarians, are preserved in the Pantheon.
• On Easter 2001 in the building of the Pantheon, a chapel "St. Paisii Hilendarski" was opened and documental exhibition for the history of "All Saints" church and the building of the Pantheon of Revivals; tel: 082/820 998

4. ROMAN FORTRESS "SEXAGINTA PRISTA"
• A Fortress and fleet station, which had functioned since I century until VII century. Except for the Stronghold equipment (battle tower, Northern stronghold wall, military and warehouse premises), the exhibition includes interesting ancient stone inscriptions, architectural ornaments and tombstone monuments. The complex is located near Rechna train station.

5. MUSEUM HALL " TOMA KARDJIEV"
• The archaeological exhibition "Rouse during the Second Bulgarian Kingdom (XIII-XIV century) has been opened for visitors since the end of 2003. The exhibition shows the achievements of the Rouse region during the Second Bulgarian Kingdom(XIII-XIV century). For guardance of the Danube border a good number of fortresses have been used and many of them gained town functions as main crafts and trade centers. Among them is the impressive town of Cherven, which was one of the biggest military, administrative, economic and church-cultural centers in the country.
•along the valley of Rusenski Lom river multiple monasteries on rocks emerge, which turns it into incredible spiritual center. The monastery "St. Archangel Michail" at the village of Ivanovo, where frescoes are still preserved, is included in the UNESCO list of world cultural heritage.

6. MEDIEVAL TOWN OF CHERVEN
• This is a major administrative, military, trade and Episcopal center during the time of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. The results from the archaeological excavations are accessible for visitors, and give a clear idea for the character of the Medieval town of Cherven, for its development and urbanistic plans, for the peculiarities of its fortress, communal and vital architecture, for the customs and its population.
• Unique: a stone tower from XI century, underground tunnel-well for water-supply of the fortress during siege.

7. IVANOVS ROCK CHURCHES
• Situated 22 km south from Rouse. The Rock Monastery Complex was inhabited in XIII-XIV centuries, and some of the churches were active until the end of XVII century. The object is part of the world cultural heritage, and is protected by UNESCO
• Unique: frescoes since XIII-XIV century

• 01. 01. 1904 - The archaeological collection at Men's High school "Knyaz Boris" was officially approved by the Ministry of Education to be an Archaeological Museum.
• 13. 02. 1921 - In the ceremonial Hall of the Men's High school in Rouse was established an Archaeological Association
• 1922-1936 - A systematical research of the frescoes of the Ivanov's Rock churches was started
• 1937 - The Archaeological Museum received a status of a Town Museum under the management of Rouse Municipality and moved to a separated premise in the "Profitable House"
• 1942 - The collection of the town museum accounts to 2 377 objects
• 1948 - Systematic excavations of the Rouse Prehistoric settlement mound was started
• 01. 01. 1949 - The town Historical Museum was announced to be national
• 01. 09. 1951 - The first archaeological exhibition of the Rouse Museum was opened on 5 Knyajeska Street.
• 08. 04. 1952 - By Regulation N 309 of the Council of Ministers the Rouse Town Museum turned into a Regional Museum
• 1953 - The book "Ivanovski frescoes" by Asen Vasilev was issued
• 1955-56 - The primary registration of the real estate and the archaeological monuments of culture in the region 212 Ancient and Middle Ages and 255 funeral mounds was made
• 01. 08. 1956 - A new exhibition in the Historical Museum was opened
• 1958 - Systematic excavations of late ancient Roman Fortress Yatrus in the village of Krivina, Rouse region were started, together with Bulgarian Association of Science and the Institute for old History at Academy of Science of the German Democratic Republic.
• 02. 1958 - A house- museum "Baba Tonka" was opened ( it is closed for reconstruction on 01.11.1992)
• 1959 - Exhibition of "Nature" section was opened in a separate building
• 1965 - The Medieval town of Cherven and the Ivanovs Rock churches are announced to be museum reserve
• 1969 - A newly- built Section Ethnography started functioning
• 1974 - The Borovs Thracian silver treasure was found (IV century B.C.)
• 28. 02. 1978 - The Pantheon of the National Revival Heroes was opened
• 03. 03. 1978 - The house "Zahari Stoyanov" was opened for visitors
• 02. 03. 1984 - The "Uprising of the Russophilles in Rouse" Exhibition was opened (closed on 06.08.1990)
• 14. 03. 1987 - Ethnographic exhibition "Town customs and culture of Rouse from the end of XIX and the beginning of XX century) was opened
• 03. 1991 - Museum Hall for temporary exhibitions "T. Kardjiev" started functioning
• 02. 06. 2001 - "Obretenovs Family" exhibition was opened in the "Zahari Stoyanov" House
• 16. 06. 2001 - Documentary exposition and a chapel "St. Paisii Hilendar" was opened in the Pantheon of National Revival Heroes
• 11. 2002 - Open exhibition "Roman Fortress Sexaginta Prista" was opened
